ABOUT THE ROCKS
The Rocks is a stand-alone 3-bedroom property in the middle of a working dairy farm in the beautiful Hinuera Valley, Waikato.
The Rocks has been designed with your ultimate comfort in mind with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms & living areas, tastefully decorated, a relaxing outdoor bath and all the amenities you could need. The rural location is beautiful, private and extremely restful. We also love to treat all our guests to home made & local produce.
Situated in the beautiful Hinuera Valley of the Waikato, “The Rocks” is given its name by the spectacular, Ignimbrite rocks that carve the Valley.
Before the eruptions of Taupo about 300,000 years ago, The Waikato River, New Zealand’s longest River, flowed through the Hinuera Valley and eventually entered the Hauraki Gulf.
The eruptions caused the direction of the river to change, leaving us with the valley as we see today.
With these beautiful and historic rocks running through the back of our farm, it seemed unfair not to be able to share them with you all. Gaze over some of New Zealand’s most incredible natural features while relaxing in comfort and style.

There are 2 options when you book The Rocks.
1. Book the entire house for up to 6 guests (3 bedrooms)

2. Book a couples night, the master suite will be set up for you
$420.00

Bridal parties please note: a couples night cannot be added onto a full house booking. You will need to book the whole house for 2 nights if you would like to use The Rocks to get ready on your wedding day.
